Master Wang Engming, born in Beijing in 1952, started to learn Shaolin martial art at the age of 8 and learned Shaolinquan from Master Wang Youzhi, and Baguazhang from Master Liu Xinghan, the 4th generation of successor to Baguazhang. He became a disciple of Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang, the 18th generation of successor to Chen Style Taijiquan and also a successor of Qigong in 1975 and began to learn Taijiquan, Qigong and other traditional techniques.

Master Wang Eengming has devoted himself to the practice and study of martial arts for decades and mastered Taijiquan, Qigong and Baguazhang. Having obtained the real Gongfu and developed comprehensively, he is proficient in techniques and has become one of the successful disciples Master Feng loves most. He won many prices at Taijiquan or Qigong competitions at home and abroad.

Master Wang Fengming not only practises, but also engages in researching technical theories. His books in Chinese or English are well received in every corner of the world, inter alia, Special Taoist Taiji Stick and Ruler Qigong, Gem of Taoist Qigong—Inner Dan Gong—Outer Dan Gong, and Essence of Taijiquan Push-Hand and Attack-Defence Art.

Besides, more than a dozen papers or essays by him on Taijiquan and Qigong were published in martial arts magazines. He studied for three years at the Research Institute of Chinese Traditional Medicine in order to have a better understanding of theory of Chinese traditional medicine.

In 1982 Master Wang Fengming started to teach Wushu, Taijiquan and Qigong at the Beijing International Education Centre. He acted as a coach, senior coach, coach in chief, and deputy general manager at the centre. He trained many domestic and foreign students, and made contributions to popularizing Taijiquan and Qigong. At the same time, he was a qualified national-rank referee of martial arts and the Deputy Director of Zhiqiang Martial Art Academy.

As an influential master with actual strength, Master Wang Fengming visited many countries on invitation to participate in exchange activities or teaching Taijiquan or Qigong, including Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Nederland, Spain, Sweden, Swiss, United Kingdom and United States. His efforts have been highly praised by martial art communities not only in China, but in foreign counties also. He is reputed to be real grandmaster of Taiji and Qigong and invited to be honourable chairman, honourable president or advisor by more than twenty organizations abroad.

Master Wang Fengming has gone to Finland and taught Taijiquan and Qigong at Helsinki University and other schools since 1994. He initiated and established European Hunyuan Taijiquan Association, and has served as its Chairman to further promote Taijiquan and Qigong in Europe.

Since 1998, he has lead and organized successfully annual European International Chen Style Hunyuan Taijiquan and Qigong Workshop in Sweden, Nederland, Fenland, France, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, which won warm praises from enthusiasts of Taijiquan and Qigong from various countries.

At the invitation issued by a university, Master Wang Fengming, as a special extinguished figure, have started his work in the United Stats since 2007.
